When Version One of Optiflux.com came online in December of ‘96, the internet was a completely different place. In that era of dial-up modems, before the corporate overlords would ride bandwidth to scale the internet to infinity and beyond, websites were special places, destinations.
We emblazoned ours a WebOutpost, a place to linger, have a look around.

A vintage site originating in 2001 documenting one of the greatest 16-inch softball teams to ever play. It still looks great and it’s almost 25.
Chicago Design League
A Grant Park softball league like no other. Thursday nights in the Chicago Summers. Alas, it is no more, but this site will forever document its 20-year run.
Illini Club Baseball
Baseball is a big deal around here. Having a kid playing on this team made it a perfect opportunity for documentation. All the families involved loved it.
